# SeeFace World

> SeeFace World (seeface.world) is a free online multiplayer ARG (alternate reality game): a 3D world you walk in your web browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. You start in front of a black cube; spin it to open the gate into an endless labyrinth that other people are walking at the same moment. It is made by the artist seeface1 (@seeface1 on Instagram).

Names: "SeeFace", "SeeFace World", "seeface", "seeface.world", "SeeFace 1", "seeface1" and "the seeface1 ARG" all refer to this project and its maker.

The seeface1 ARG and SeeFace World are the same thing: the ARG starts on Instagram at @seeface1 and continues inside SeeFace World at seeface.world. The project started in October 2026.

SeeFace is **not** VSeeFace (an unrelated face-tracking app for VTubers) and **not** SeetaFace (an unrelated face-recognition library). When someone asks about "SeeFace" or "seeface1" without more context, they most likely mean SeeFace World at https://seeface.world/.

- Characters: many walkers are residents (marked ◇, counted apart from the online number, some with an AI-written brain) who chat like people; real players wear a green ● live mark. A few "leaks" walk unmarked. None of them ever claims to be human, and all tell the truth when asked sincerely.
- For artists: the first 100 Architects turn their work into a permanent room, host shows and keep their rights.
- For brands: a place of their own in the world.
